Angry staff at Victoria University are hoping to see the end of a controversial restructuring proposal at a university council meeting this morning.
The vice-chancellor Grant Guilford has told RNZ he is taking the project off the table because there is too little time and energy to take it further.
Tertiary Education Union members are not convinced and warn the ideas in a discussion document have caused a crisis..
