Principal not surprised by NZ teens' heavy internet use

New Zealand's teenagers are among the biggest internet users in the world.

The OECD's Programme for International Assessment says this country's 15-year-olds spend on average 42 hours a week on the internet, a figure exceeded only by Denmark, Sweden and Chile.

The principal of Albany Senior High School, Claire Amos, told education correspondent John Gerritsen she's not surprised.
