Covid-19: Number of southern spots available for holiday isolation growing

Health and civil authorities in Queenstown are pulling out all the stops to improve Queenstown's readiness to cater for people needing to isolate with Covid-19.

Earlier this week, there were just two "mini-MIQ" bubbles - both in motel settings - but the southern DHB is working to improve that.

Queenstown is preparing to host around 40,000 out-of-towners over the summer holidays.

Southern District Health Board chief executive Chris Fleming spoke to Susie Ferguson.
