In a marked shift in Aotearoa's contribution to the Ukraine, New Zealand is sending a Hercules and 50 soldiers to Europe to help distribute military aid.
It's being described as the country's biggest military deployment to the region since the early 1990s.
The Goverment is also increasing its funding with an extra $13 million for military, legal and human rights support.
More money will be sent to fund weapons and ammunition.
