Christmas in Karachi for the Black Caps

It will be Christmas in Karachi for the Black Caps on Wednesday for a tour of Pakistan under new test captain Tim Southee. Normally they'd be gearing up for a Boxing Day test and other home summer fixtures but instead they're in the sub-continent, playing a rescheduled series that was cancelled last year for security reasons. The first of two tests starts on Boxing Day, six months after New Zealand suffered a 3-0 loss to England in their most recent Test series. Former Black Caps coach and Sky Sport analyst Mike Hesson told Corin Dann he hopes to see an improvement.
