Retired senior US military officers are landing high-paying government jobs in New Zealand, including with the spy agency.
These are among hundreds of American veterans - including generals and admirals - who have taken up foreign jobs.
Across the Tasman, it has been revealed one former admiral was paid more than 8,000 New Zealand dollars a day under a contract with Australia's defence department.
