Embattled Minister Michael Wood regrets not selling airport shares

From Morning Report, 6:42 am on 8 June 2023

The National Party is questioning how the Prime Minister still has confidence in his under-fire minister Michael Wood.

Mr Wood has been stood down as transport minister for failing to properly disclose and sell his shares in Auckland Airport.

Mr Wood was told by the Cabinet Office to sell the stocks twelve times, yet it still hasn't happened.

After a fiery question time at Parliament yesterday, Michael Wood fronted media, admitting he should have sold his shares sooner.
