A search and rescue operation is underway in Hawke's Bay to find a crew member who fell overboard from a fishing vessel.
The person was reported missing at eight o'clock last night, 11 kilometres offshore of Waimārama.
Rescue helicopters crews are helping in the search as well as other vessels in the area.
