The head of Te Runanga o Ngati Kahungunu says a Maori-Pasifika approach to business is proving to be successful; A south Auckland Maori leader says its going to take some tough talking with families to turn around truancy rates in his area; The Environmental Protection Authority has wound up a month long roadshow consulting iwi about the agency's role in managing the waters of the exclusive economic zone; The Maori Affairs Select Committee is questioning whether South Island iwi, who are to receive an old dump site as part of a settlement, should have to pay to rehabilitate the land.
