Frank Bainimarama steps down from head of Fiji military

The leader of the Fiji regime Frank Bainimarama stepped down as the head of the country's military yesterday, saying he was leaving a job he loved. The move will allow the leader of the 2006 coup to stand in the general elections which the regime has promised will be held by the end of September.
