From Nights, 10:30 pm on 30 April 2024

This weekend, Open Christchurch will be celebrating some of the city's best architecture and special spaces that contribute to Ōtautahi's sense of place.

The annual festival of architectural excellence returns this year with 50 open buildings for the public to explore spanning Gothic Revival, Christchurch Modern, contemporary and a range of uses.

Emile Donovan speaks to New Zealand architectural historian Jessica Halliday, the director of Te Pūtahi Centre for Architecture and City Making in Christchurch.
