New research from King's College London has found that teacher assessments are equally as reliable as standardised exams at predicting educational success. As the report states, by trusting the teachers to 'implement the curriculum and monitor students' progress, abilities and inclinations', the researchers believe it will help boost classroom morale, both for students and teachers, asw ell as bringing joy to the classroom.  The co-lead researchers Dr Margherita Malanchini and Dr Kaili Rimfeld join Jim to discuss their findings and its implications.
