The German tennis player Julia Georges has been confirmed for another tilt at January's ASB Classic tournament in Auckland.
Georges made the semi-finals in 2011 and is likely to be ranked as the second seed behind Poland's Agniezska Radwanska.
Radwanska, the world number four, was announced as the top seed on Monday, along with rising British star Heather Watson.
Top 30 player Sorana Cirstea of Romania is also rumoured to be returning to Auckland.
