Ben Hilfenhaus and Cameron White will come back into the Australian team for the Australia Day limited overs match against South Africa at Adelaide Oval on Monday.
They replace Nathan Bracken and Nathan Hauritz, after Bracken withdrew from the squad with a calf problem and Hauritz was subjected to some heavy punishment during the Proteas most recent win at the SCG on Friday night.
Hauritz is set to be 12th man while Bracken's replacement Ryan Harris will sit out the match after only arriving in town at lunchtime on Sunday and missing the team's main training session due to unhelpful flight schedules.
Australian captain Ricky Ponting says the Australians are desperate to win and keep the five-match series alive but a South African win would wrap up the series for the Proteas.
