The New Zealand cricket captain Brendon McCullum says he'll continue to back Corey Anderson to bowl at the death, despite the breakout all-rounder failing to finish the job in Auckland on Saturday night.
Anderson was the pick of bowlers in the tied third one-dayer against India at Eden Park, racking up his maiden five-wicket haul.
However he fell at the final hurdle. With India requiring 18 runs off the final over, Anderson was belted for two fours and a six as the tourists salvaged a draw on the very last ball.
The Black Caps lead the five match series 2-0 with the fourth one-dayer in Hamilton on Tuesday.
