Felipe Massa has already started on a training programme as he recovers from a life-threatening Formula One crash, Ferrari team principal Stefano Domenicali says.
The Brazilian fractured his skull in July when a spring that flew off compatriot Rubens Barrichello's Brawn GP car hit him above his left eye during qualifying for the Hungarian Grand Prix.
The 28-year-old driver is to race at a popular kart event in Brazil in November
Ferrari hired Italian Giancarlo Fisichella this month to replace Massa for the final five races of this season.
