Shock loss for Murray at Queens Club

9:02 am on 14 June 2014

In a major blow ahead of the defence of his Wimbledon title, Andy Murray has suffered a stunning loss at the traditional lead-up tournament, beaten in the third round at the Queen's Club.

The defending champion and world number five went out to the unseeded Czech veteran Radek Stepanek 7-6 6-2, ending his unbeaten run on grass since losing the 2012 Wimbledon final to Roger Federer.

Since his Wimbledon win last year, 27-year-old Murray hasn't reached an ATP Tour or Grand Slam final, although he's been hampered by a back injury and a split with his coach Ivan Lendl.
