New Zealand tennis number one Marina Erakovic has climbed 11 places on the WTA rankings after her semi-final run in Thailand.

Erakovic is up to world No.74 in the latest rankings, climbing up from 85.
The Aucklander was beaten in the semi-finals of the Thailand Open, losing in three sets to the unseeded Slovakian Daniela Hantuchova.
Erakovic was beaten 4-6 6-3 7-6.
Hantuchova went on to win the tournament, beating Croatian Ajla Tomljanovic 3-6 6-3 6-4 in the final.
