Hager wants more from women's hockey team

The New Zealand women's hockey coach Mark Hager is expecting more from his side in the second test against Australia in Perth tonight.

The Black Sticks were 2-nil up before losing 3-2 to the Australians in the first test on Sunday night.

While it is a young, largely inexperienced side he has, Hager did say he expected to beat the higher ranked Australians... something they achieved in the Oceania series last year.

He says he wants them to show more in tonight's game.

Australia are ranked 5th in the world and New Zealand 9th.
