The Australian National Basketball League club said in a statement it was aware of an incident involving Webster last night and his subsequent arrest.

The club was making further enquiries into what occurred, and said it had no further comment to make at this time.

It said it would address the incident with the media once further information was available.

Webster has played more than 150 games for the Breakers and has won three NBL Championships.

In 2011 he was released from his contract with the Breakers due to a drug violation.

He re-signed with the club in 2012.
