Over Labour weekend in Auckland comic book and pop culture fans flocked to the Armageddon Expo. The days are long gone when such events were underground. In the US the Comic Con weekend is now one of the biggest influencers on what movies get made and what TV shows get greenlit. Simon Morris wonders if that's altogether a good thing.
