Can role-playing board games help social development?

Fantasy tabletop role-playing games such as Dungeons and Dragons have shot up in popularity in recent years, thanks to their inclusion in popular culture. Researchers at the University of South Australia are studying the possibility of using tabletop role-playing games or (TTRPGs) to promote social growth in people.
