    Five programmes

Every year radio producers from around the world converge on the offices of one of the member broadcasters of the EBU, for a 'listen-in'. Their job - to select the best radio recordings of the most outstanding new concert music from entries from all of the 40 or more participating radio networks. Last year, Duncan Yardley headed to Portugal as Australia's representative for five days of intensive listening and discussion, and he talks to Julian Day about the event. Tonight we hear New Zealand's and Australia's entries, as well as the selected works in both the General and Young Composer categories
