The Solomon islands govenrment has allocated 137 thousand US dollars for the upcoming provincial elections.
The Ministry of Provincial Affairs says December the 5th has been decided for 6 provinces to have their elections.
Officials in the ministry says 504 wards are involved.
They say Guadalcanal's Weather Coast will also have their elections on the designated date unless it is decided otherwise later.
The ministry says the registartion list from the national Elections will be used with no changes.
