A leading Fiji businessman has called on the government to allow foreigners to migrate and live in Fiji to counter the brain drain and loss of skills.
The Fiji Sun quotes the chairman of the Motibhai Group, Mahendra Patel, as saying instability plagues the country along with loss of skills and lack of investment.
Mr Patel has called for assurances that there will be no more coups.
He says the justice system and maintenance of law and order should be impartial to ensure the security and peace of mind of investors.
