New Zealand government encourages Christmas gift buyers to think of trade aid goods

New Zealand's Aid Minister, Marian Hobbs, is encouraging New Zealanders to think about buying a trade aid products as gifts this christmas.

NZAID is providing 700,000 NZ dollars over the next three years for the promotion of trade aid.

Marion Hobbs says this is a wonderful way to support developing countries.

NZAID will be working with Oxfam New Zealand, Trade Aid, and the Fair Trade Association of Australia and New Zealand on the promotion.
