Samoa's health minister, Mulitalo Siafausa Vui, will escort the country's returning dialysis patients from New Zealand later this week.

This comes after Samoa opened its first renal dialysis treatment centre this month.

Nine renal patients will be returning to Samoa after being sent to New Zealand for dialysis treatment.

These patients, together with other local renal patients, will be the first group to be treated at the Dialysis Centre at Motootua.
