Forecasters in Fiji are monitoring a tropical depression east of Vanuatu.
The weather system has winds of up to 40 kilometres an hour within 190 kilometres of the centre.
Forecasters says the system is poorly organised and may not develop.
The Regional Specialised Meteorological Centre in Nadi in Fiji says the potential for the system to develop into a cyclone within the next 24 hours is low.
