The newly established political party in Samoa, called the Samoa Party, plans to hold a rally in American Samoa on the 21st of this month.

The new party's Special Political Advisor, Vui Masina-Mua, says the rally will give the Samoa Party an opportunity to outline its goals and visions for the future.

The Samoa Party, which lists among its aims the restoration of the primacy of Parliament in the political process, is headed by Su'a Rimoni Ah Chong, a former chief auditor.

Vui Masina-Mua says the party, which has already registered 300 supporters, will be officially launched in Apia on October the 13th.
