The College of Marshall Islands is confident it will pass its review for its United States Accreditation this month.

The college has been on the brink of losing its accreditation for the past year.

The President of the College, Wilson Hess says the college has moved in a positive direction with the government giving a 25 million US dollar grant to upgrade the campus.

He says the college has also hired new executive managers and looked at ways to improve their support of students.

"At this point, given the wide variety of things we've been able to accomplish in the last three months, we are hopeful we will move in a positive direction with accreditation."

Wilson Hess says the review will be on Friday and the college will be told whether it can keep its US accreditation in February.
