Seven people survive CNMI plane crash

A seven-seater Piper Cherokee plane has crashed in the Commonwealth of the Northern Marianas but all passengers survived.

The crash happened shortly after the aircraft left Saipan International airport to fly to the neighbouring island of Tinian.

The Federal Aviation Administration has joined the investigation of the crash of the The Taga Air Charter service plane.

Liberty Dones reports.

"It crashed at 2.15am and according to investigators it crashed a minute after it took off. On board were five passengers, believed to be tourists, four Japanese and one Chinese."
