Tourism operators in Tonga have agreed to form a Special Task Force to decide on how the industry can move forward following the November 16 riots.
Matagi Tonga Online reports the Deputy Director of Tourism saying 20 tourist operators had suffered damages.
Sione Moala said that the mandate of the taskforce would include a major marketing campaign to regain the confidence of tourists and help operators get back on their feet.
