Meanwhile, the suspended PNG Defence Force commander Commodore Peter Ilau has been reinstated by the National Court.
The presiding judge Justice David Cannings quashed the National Executive Council's decision of Nov 11.
The decision, which was to advise the Governor-General to suspend commander Ilau and appoint Col Francis Agwi as acting commander, was quashed and declared unlawful last Friday.
"The National newspaper reports Justice Cannings ordered that these orders should take effect today (Mon nzt) while granting the application for a judicial review to be held in relation to the matter."
