Former French football international and FIFA ambassador, Christian Karembeu, has arrived in Suva.
The New Caledonian native, who has visited Papua New guinea recently, is expected to be the chief guest at the Fiji FA cup tournament opening ceremony in Ba on Thursday.
He is in the country together with a delegation from Oceania Football Confederation
On Thursday FACT defending champion, Ba will take on Tavua in its first game.
Ba and Lautoka are expected to qualify from Pool A and should decide the pool on Saturday night
