The general manager of Russell Islands Plantation Estate Limited in Solomon Islands, John Whiteside, says lawlessness continues to plague the company.
The government has just issued a report on RIPEL, calling for government intervention to alleviate the plight of plantation workers, who have been on strike since 17 June 2004.
But the company's management allege that numerous amounts of company property has been destroyed, stripped or stolen.
Mr Whiteside says evidence has been collated against various perpetrators, many former employees, who he says must be brought to justice.
He says the company isn't responsible for the current dire situation of workers, and there'll be no resolution until law and order is restored.
"Criminal acts have been committed and nothing has been done to address those criminal issues. And I believe that's why this matter has carried on for so long, but had the police come in and done their job, I don't think there would be any industrial dispute, so to speak."
John Whiteside says he remains the general manager of RIPEL for the term of his contract which expires in 2009.
Several cases involving RIPEL are still going through the courts.
