The Papua New Guinea rugby union sevens coach, says they're looking foward to the Wellington leg of the IRB world series in February despite a tough pool draw.

PNG has been drawn with defending champions Samoa and series leaders New Zealand.

Coach Sailosi Druma says he's not surprised with the draw.

"Yeah that's what I expected there you know there's always going to be two tough teams, you know having New Zealand and Samoa in our pool, it's going to be really hard for us, but our aim is to come third in the pool hopefully we can play in the Bowl final, that's our main aim when coming to Wellington next year."
