"Globally, [the conservative] UMP party has six towns, with the biggest one [the capital], Noumea and its suburbs. [The centre right] Future Together has seven towns, the president of the government, Mr Harold Martin, has been re-elected [as mayor] on Sunday with 63 percent and concerning the independentist, they are keeping all their towns around 20 villages in the interior and in the Loyalty Islands. In Yate, a village in the area of the Goro Nickel [mining] project, it's the Rheebu Nuu, which is the main opponent to the project, which has won the municipality."
