New Zealand has extended troop deployments in Solomon Islands and the Sinai Peninsular.
The Defence Minister, Phil Goff, says the deployment of up to 50 Defence Force personnel to the Regional Assistance Mission in Solomon Islands has been extended until March next year.
And he says 26 personnel will remain in the Sinai Peninsular for a further two years, until April 2010.
