Police in Chile say they're holding a Finnish tourist for breaking off part of the ear of an ancient statue on Easter Island.
The 25-year old man was caught by local residents when he broke off the piece which he reportedly wanted as a souvenir.
He faces possible jail time or a fine for damaging the moai.
Easter Island is a UNESCO world heritage site.
