Aloha Airlines, which has served Hawaii for more than 60 years, is closing down after declaring bankruptcy.
Its president, David Banmiller, says it ran out of time to find a buyer or secure new financing for its passenger business.
Aloha is negotiating with a U.S. firm to purchase the airline's cargo operations.
