A British charity, Missing Abroad, has launched an appeal to raise funds for the repatriation of the body of a Briton allegedly murdered in Fiji.

Wendy Singh died in Fiji earlier this month. Her husband, Raymond, a former Fiji journalist, has been charged with her murder, and is due to appear before the Fiji High Court on Friday in connection with the case.

Wendy Singh's family is seeking the return of her body to Britain, as well as funds to enable her son George to fly back to Britain.

Missing Abroad hopes to raise more than twenty thousand US dollars in order to achieve its objective.
