The Northern Marianas Governor, Benigno Fitial, will meet today with representatives of a major energy company operating in India that wants to help solve the Commonwealth's power crisis.
The Governor did not identify the company, but only described it as a credible, well-capitalized company that may offer viable energy solutions for the CNMI's energy crisis.
The Senate president said if there is a way to find a company that will provide dependable, uninterrupted power distribution to all residents of the Commonwealth at a very reasonable and affordable rate, then he will support that.
