The President of the Samoa Association of Manufacturers and Exporters Papali'i Grant Percival estimates that the Samoa government should spend at least 93 million US dollars in a stimulus package to revive the business sector.

Papali'i told the Talamua online news service that a stimulus package is vital to the survival of the business sector, and the survival of all those who depend on it.

And with the current high interest rates, it's forecasted that tourism will decline by 20-percent which is likely to affect all industries.

The government will discuss the stimulus package this month.
