Fiji's New Methodists gear up for Suva crusade

The New Methodist Church in Fiji has been granted a permit to hold its crusade in Suva next week.

Head of the New Methodist Church Pastor Atu Vulaono has confirmed to the website Fijivillage that the permit to hold the crusade has been granted and they are looking forward to their programme.

He says more than 20,000 church members are expected to be in Suva for the event next week.

This comes as the interim regime continues a crackdown on the established Methodist Church, banning its annual conference and this week halting its choir competition.
