A foreign woman in her 70s has been robbed and raped in the Papua New Guinea town of Madang.
Police have rounded up 20 suspects who are now in custody at the local police station for questioning.
The local police commander, Anthony Wagambie, has told the Post Courier newspaper that the incident was a shock to everybody.
A town meeting has been convened after a spate of similar attacks and growing safety concerns.
