France is sending more relief supplies to Fiji following the destruction caused by Cyclone Tomas earlier this month.
The frigate Le Vendemiaire is today due to leave New Caledonia for Fiji, carrying a Puma helicopter and humanitarian aid.
The French embassy in New Zealand says the supplies were stored in Noumea under an aid agreement also involving Australia and New Zealand.
The shipment includes goods donated by the Noumea section of the French Red Cross.
Last weekend, another French warship was dispatched from Noumea to Futuna which was badly hit by the same cyclone.
