Vanuatu's former honorary consul in Singapore, Alex Chung, has again been released on bail by a Vanuatu court.
Earlier this month Mr Chung had been charged with failing to surrender his diplomatic passport.
But yesterday the prosecution told the court it was withdrawing that charge but has brought a new charge of attempting to sell Vanuatu passports.
It says the initial charge may be laid again at a later date.
Mr Chung is to re-appear in court on the 17th of December.
