Papua New Guinea's hopes of moving inside world cricket's top twenty has taken another hit after a heavy eight wicket loss to Namibia at the World Cricket League Two tournament in Dubai.

Batting first the Barramundi's lost wickets at regular intervals and were five down inside eight overs, before being eventually bundled out for just 92 inside 24 overs.

In reply Raymond Haoda gave the Melanesians some small hope after removing both openers before Craig Williams stepped up to smash 73 off just 35 balls and guide the Africans to a comfortable victory.

After an opening day victory over Bermuda PNG have now lost their past two matches and next face Uganda on Thursday.
