10:10 am on 13 August 2011

Tonga is anticipating a backlash in this afternoons rugby international against Fiji in Lautoka.

The match at Churchill Park is the first of two tests between the Pacific rivals before they name their squads for the Rugby World Cup in New Zealand.

Flanker Sione Kalamafoni says they expect the Flying Fijians will be keen to even the ledger.

"I think they will come out firing, they will come out strong and hard and quick and so we will just have to react to what they come with and just do our own stuff that we practice and make sure that it's right and the result will take care of itself."

Sione Kalamafoni says everyone in the Tonga team is focused on executing their roles and performing well ahead of the world cup.
