In Vanuatu, armed police are working round the clock to catch seven escaped high risk prisoners after the murder of a European couple and a serious assault on another European elderly man.
Police say the murdered couple was in their 70s and 80s and the third victim is in his 60s and is recovering in hospital.
He was alone at the time of the attack as his wife and adult children were abroad.
Police say the criminals were looking for cash.
